Q3. What were used to create the Images of the LIBRARY? |
A3. For the creation of the Images of the LIBRARY, particular personal data were not used. They were created by our biomedical CG creator with knowledge by applying all of 3D computer graphic and multi-media technologies. The Images have organized anatomical information as well as an esthetic appeal. Since a model-based approach was used to express the Images, please note that some parts of Images differ from the actual human anatomy. The original 3D models have been built up and hand-made by the specialized
biomedical CG creator taking 20 years. Modifications are constantly
being made through the practical anatomy and studies of various data
and materials such as CT, MRI, and plastinated specimens. Modifications
are also continuously made with the guidance of users and including
their opinions. |
Q4. Are the Images of the LIBRARY academically correct? |
A4. The Images of
the LIBRARY are produced as anatomical models with the guidance of our
editorial supervisor. However, we never fail to ask the users before
use to acknowledge the following: The expressions of parts to be emphasized or omitted may depend on the intended use and thereby it may be generally difficult to say that the relevant materials are "correct" or "wrong." For the theory that was regarded as being correct at the time of
production, its mechanism may be newly elucidated a few years later.
In this case, the rental will be made upon modifications. |
